OEM product supply chain event at Bentley Motors:- A winning edge: the difference is design

    Start date: 29/04/2014
Cost: Free to Members see link to Register

An event for SMEs within OEM product supply chains to be held at Bentley Motors, Crewe on Tuesday 29 April 2014.

Business success often comes down to gaining a winning edge: that important differentiating element that helps a business stand out and win market share.

    Often that edge is design.

This joint event, developed by Design Council and Lancashire County Council/Creative Lancashire and supported by NW Aerospace Alliance, NW Automotive Alliance and NW Texnet, will look at how design can drive innovation to help make supply chain companies better, stronger businesses.

    Who is it for?
This event is aimed, primarily, at businesses within OEM/advanced manufacturing product supply chains.

    Why should you attend?
An impressive range of speakers from across the sectors will show how design can increase businesses capacity to innovate, drive change and improvement, and strengthen visibility and market position.

Speakers include Richard Baker, head of supplier engineering at Rolls Royce and Michael Straughan, Bentley Motors board member for manufacturing.

Government’s Industrial Strategy highlights the importance of innovation for UK businesses in supply chains; design provides an approach which can be applied in different contexts and across a range of sectors to drive that innovation.

This invitation is free to all NW Automotive and NW Aerospace Alliance members and NW Texnet members.

This is a morning event. Lunch is provided.
