 IMPORTANT RESEARCH PROJECT

England’s RDAs, including the NWDA, are supporting research being taken forward by the IfM, University of Cambridge, into high value production through a survey of companies across the UK. The survey is attempting to further their understanding of the importance of retaining production and the impact of the location of production to company performance.  The stronger the evidence base, the better targeted and prioritised our support for engineering and manufacturing firms will be; by understanding how your company is structured and its profitability and turnover growth, we hope to identify which patterns of production ownership and location may provide the best returns and hence the policy measures needed to best ensure future manufacturing growth and economic competitiveness.  For more information and questionnaire click here
